A Little Wilderness BOM
Exciting news! If you missed out on starting my 6 month BOM program in January, or you’re looking for a fun little quilt project to keep you company in these crazy times, this is for you! 😍
After many requests, I’ve decided to run the A Little Wilderness quilt program TWICE this year instead of the usual one time only.
The second round of the BOM will start on July 31. $50US for the whole 6 months gets you the monthly pattern, a video tutorial each month, access to the private Facebook group (if you want that!), and a colouring sheet. Pay up front or by the month ($8.33), but get in quickly because the monthly payment option will ONLY be available until August 31.

Kaffe Fassett Artisan Blog Tour
Anyone who has any of my books will know how much I love Kaffe's fabric! His big blowsy florals in saturated colours have been one of my favourite things ever since I first saw them, many years ago now. It was really exciting for me when Free Spirit sent me his new collection and I saw this new direction he's headed off in. Of course there are his beautiful signature florals and some really really amazing spots, but it was the batiks, ikats and woven checks that really caught my attention.
When it came time to start stitching with this collection I had a little look back through the blog tour as I wanted to show you something a different than everyone else! I noticed that no one had done any applique so that being my thing....
I was ::supposed:: to be working with the blue colour way but I couldn't resist the sunny yellows for my background.... sorry Nancy ;)
I will admit that because of the hand work I didn't get a chance to quilt it, I hope you'll forgive me! That gives me another chance to post when it's quilted though, right?
The pattern is adapted from the Smile, Darn Ya quilt from my latest book, Old Quilts New Life. Its a fantastic way to showcase a lot of prints at once, and especially that wonderful floral in the centre. All the pinks and yellows really blended beautifully together to make the background sing, and I love the direction the zig zag gives the petals! I love sunflowers, they're so cheery and friendly.

2017 Block of the Month Release!
This year's Block of the Month program has been so much fun! It will be an annual occurrence for certain. And on that note I'm proud to reveal after weeks of angst and redesign - the sketch of my 2017 Block of the Month program quilt, Down the Rabbit Hole.
Its a grand adventure, but I will be there with you all the way - there's instructional videos hosted on a private blog each month, with step by step instructions, as well as a PDF pattern download and full sized templates. I even have an option to buy all the notions, templates and EPP pieces in a one off postage package. The only thing I don't provide is the fabric - which enables everyone to use their stash, support their local quilt shop, and decide their own colour scheme. Win-win!

Introducing Kaffe Fassett's Artisan Fabrics! Any of you who have seen my quilts over a number of years will know that I just LOVE Kaffe's fabrics. Indeed I have quite the collection, neatly folded away in my stash! And of course some of them are repeat purchases of ones I've run out of, because not having a print is just not on!
